India Pharma . is tucked away at Shop No. 2 in the Advan Complex, right on Khairani Road in Andheri East. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets, especially being right opposite the Jama Masjid. The street is always full of people and the sounds from the mosque are a constant part of our day. The shop itself is not very big, but we have managed to cram a lot into the space over time. Boxes are stacked up almost to the ceiling and sometimes it is hard to find a place to sit down and have lunch. Working in Andheri East means dealing with the rain and the crowds every single day without fail. We open up early to get ahead of the morning rush. The building is a bit older now and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it serves us well enough. We see a lot of regulars who stop by because they are already in the neighborhood for prayers or shopping at the local stalls. It is a bit chaotic on Friday afternoons when the road gets really blocked up with traffic. We just keep our heads down and handle the stock as it comes in from the suppliers. It is a simple operation and we don’t have any fancy displays or a lot of staff. Just a few of us making sure everything is in its right place.
