If you are looking for us, we are right next to Birdys Cake Shop in Dadar East. The office is 169-C in Neelkanth Niwas on Dr Ambedkar Road. It’s a busy spot, and the smell of the bakery next door is always a bit of a distraction when we are trying to focus. India Outdoors Adventures is run by people who would probably rather be out on a trail than sitting behind a desk, but the paperwork has to get done. We spend our days sorting through gear, checking weather reports, and making sure the tents and ropes are in good shape. There is usually a pile of backpacks in the corner and a map pinned to the wall with some coffee stains on it. We don't have a big polished showroom. It’s more of a place where we plan trips and talk about the best routes up a hill. Dadar is central, so it’s easy for people to drop by, though it gets quite loud with the traffic outside. We’ve been in this building for some time now and know the neighborhood well. Sometimes we are out in the field for days, so the office stays quiet, but when we are back, it is full of stories and muddy boots. We just try to help people get outside and see something different. It is a simple setup here, just some desks, a lot of outdoor gear, and us trying to keep everything organized for the next trip.
