If you ever find yourself navigating the crowded streets of Kurla West, you might have passed Janabai House near Shivaji Chowk. That’s where we are, right on New Mill Road at Plot No. -No. 411. Imochem Engineers has been part of this neighborhood for a long time now. It’s a noisy, lively spot, and there is always someone shouting or a rickshaw honking right outside the window. We’ve grown used to it over the years. Inside, it’s a bit different, just us focusing on the engineering work that needs to happen. The office isn't fancy, but it works for what we do day in and day out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at diagrams on messy desks, making sure everything lines up for the projects we handle. Kurla is a tough place to get around sometimes, especially when it rains and the roads get messy or flooded, but it’s home for the business. We know the shopkeepers nearby and where to get the best hot snacks during a late afternoon break. It’s a very grounded way to work. We don't have a big reception area or flashy signs to attract attention. It’s mostly just desks, stacks of files, and people who have been doing this for a long time. Sometimes we stay late when a job is urgent, watching the lights and the people at Shivaji Chowk from the dusty window. It’s just how things go here. We try to keep things simple and honest. Being in an old house like Janabai House gives the place some character that you don't find in those new glass towers they build now.
