Bahwan Engineering Co Llc, Oman

We’re set up in a flat over in the Dalal Estate, right across from the Shagun Hotel in Mumbai Central. It’s Flat No-3 on the first floor of the T-Block. It’s a busy area, being so close to the station. We’re part of Bahwan Engineering, which has its main roots over in Oman, but this is where we handle things for the Mumbai side. The office is in an old building, so it has that classic Mumbai feel—high ceilings and big windows that let in all the street noise. We spend a lot of our time coordinating engineering projects and dealing with various technical bits. It’s a lot of phone calls and emails back and forth to the Middle East. Sometimes the time difference makes for some long days, but we manage. The team here is small, just a few of us trying to keep everything on track. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. You just come up the stairs and ring the bell. It’s a practical space. We’ve got stacks of drawings and technical manuals piled up on the shelves. It gets a bit hectic when a big project is in the works, but usually, it’s just the sound of typing and the ceiling fan whirring away. We like the location because everything we need is just a short walk away. It’s a good spot for us and we have been here for years now.
