Down on Link Road in Malad West, you’ll find us at Smms Engineering Systems. We are in the Linkway Estate building, unit three hundred and five. The area is always crowded because of the malls and the traffic, but once you get inside the estate, it’s a bit more focused. We do a lot of engineering work here, which involves plenty of drawings, technical files, and meetings about how things are going to be built. Our office isn’t a showroom; it’s more of a place where we actually do the thinking and the planning. The desks are usually covered in papers and blueprints. We have a small group here, and most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to explain much to each other anymore. We handle the engineering systems that people need for their projects. It’s a lot of double-checking numbers and making sure the specs are right. The building itself is busy with all kinds of businesses, so there is a lot of coming and going in the hallways. We usually grab tea from the stall just outside the main gate when we need a break. We don't have a big corporate philosophy or anything like that. We just focus on the drawings and make sure the engineering side of things doesn't fall behind. It’s practical work for practical people who just want to get the day's tasks finished.
