Chemtex Engg Of India Ltd is based right in Chemtex House. We are on the Main Street of Hiranandani Gardens in Powai. It’s a nice area with lots of trees and big buildings, but inside, we are just a bunch of engineers and office staff. We’ve been in this building for quite a while. The office is usually full of maps, charts, and thick binders. We spend a lot of time in meetings or on the phone with people at construction sites. It’s a lot of coordination work. Even though the address sounds fancy, the day-to-day is pretty routine. We have our desks, our coffee mugs, and plenty of deadlines to worry about. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing internally. We just try to get the engineering drawings right and make sure the projects are moving along. The traffic in Powai can get really bad during the rainy season, so some of us end up staying late just to avoid the commute. We have people here who have worked for the company for decades. There is a lot of history in these walls. We aren't trying to sell ourselves as the biggest or the best. We just do the technical work we were hired to do. Sometimes the printers jam or the internet goes slow, just like anywhere else. We just keep at it until the day is done. It's a steady place to work.
