Our office is in the Bharat Diamond Bourse, specifically over in the G Block at unit BW 3010. Being in Bandra Kurla Complex means everything around us is always moving fast. The Bourse is like a city of its own, and we spend most of our time inside those walls. Idi Jewels is our manufacturing setup where we focus on getting the pieces built from scratch. It is a lot of sitting at the bench and making sure the settings are secure. Since we are in the East part of Bandra, there are always people coming and going. The security at the Bourse is very tight, so it is a specific kind of place to work. It is not like a local street shop where someone just wanders in off the sidewalk. We have our routines and we stick to them. Most of our days are spent checking inventory or working on the latest batch of orders that came in. It can get a bit loud with all the machinery running, but that is the sound of work being done. We don't really do the whole fancy office thing. We have desks and we have tools, and that is about it. It is a practical space for practical work. We have been here for a good bit now and the Bourse feels like home to us. It is where the trade happens, so it is where we need to be to get things finished.
