Our space is on the third floor of the Satyam Premises building. It is right on Khar Linking Road, which is always packed with cars and people shopping. If you know Khar West, you know how loud it gets during the day. The building itself has been here for quite a while. The elevator is one of those old ones that shakes a bit, so most of us just take the stairs to the third floor. It is good exercise anyway. We share the floor with a few other offices. Inside number 318, we have our desks set up near the windows. You can see the traffic moving down toward the junction. It is a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in at the same time. We do not have a lot of fancy furniture or decorations. There are just piles of paper and some old notebooks lying around. The light in the afternoon is actually really nice, even if the view is just rooftops and billboards. We usually grab lunch from one of the small places nearby. Linking Road has plenty of food, so that is a plus. It is a busy environment, but we have gotten used to the constant honking from the street below. We just keep our heads down and do what we need to do. It is a simple setup for a small team like ours, and we spend a lot of time just talking through things in the main room together.
