Ideal Cures is based in Goregaon East, inside the Virwani Industrial Estate. It’s right off the Western Express Highway, so the noise of the highway is always there in the background. We have our corporate office and the R&D center across units A-223 to A-229. It’s a bit of a maze in here sometimes. People are always walking back and forth between the different sections with clipboards or wearing lab coats. Since it is a research and development place too, there are rooms that stay locked and have a lot of equipment humming inside. We spend a lot of time in meetings or looking at data on old monitors. The elevator in this building is famously slow, so many of us just take the stairs even if we are going up several floors. Lunchtimes are busy because everyone from the estate spills out onto the street to find food. We have a small break area where the coffee machine usually works, though it has its bad days. It’s a professional enough place, but it still has that slightly chaotic feel of an older industrial estate. There are files piled up in the corners and the desks are covered in notebooks and pens. We aren't trying to be anything other than what we are, which is a group of people working on technical things in a busy part of Mumbai.
