Icon Optical Gallery

You can find Icon Optical Gallery at Shop No 45/52 in the RNA Arcade. We are right in the Lokhandwala Complex area of Andheri West. The shop is filled with rows of frames and the smell of lens cleaner. It’s a busy part of town, so we get all sorts of people walking in. Some are just looking, others have broken their glasses and need a quick fix. We spend a lot of time adjusting frames so they don't slip off people's noses. It’s a lot of small, fiddly work with tiny screws and screwdrivers. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of the space we have in the arcade. We’ve been in Andheri West for a good bit now, and we see the same faces every couple of years when their eyesight changes. We don't have a big corporate vibe here. It’s more like a local shop where we actually talk to people about what they need. Sometimes the lab takes a bit longer to get a lens right, or a frame someone wants is out of stock. We just tell it like it is and try to get it sorted as fast as we can. It’s a simple business of helping people see a bit better. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just running the shop and keeping the displays clean for anyone who stops by the Lokhandwala area looking for a new pair of glasses.
