Holy Basil Events Advertising Productions

We are located over in Andheri East, right on K R Road at Plot 123 in the MIDC area. It’s a busy industrial zone, so there is always noise from trucks and people moving equipment around. Holy Basil started because a few of us wanted to do our own thing with events and small video productions. Our space is mostly full of old sets, rolls of cables, and some advertising boards we did for past clients. It isn't a shiny corporate studio; it’s more of a working warehouse where things actually get built and filmed. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to coordinate with vendors or arguing about the best way to light a scene. The coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the office because the hours get really long when a deadline is coming up. Being in MIDC means we are close to a lot of other production houses, which is handy when we need to borrow a specific piece of gear at the last minute. We don’t have a big marketing team telling us what to say. We just take on the jobs that come our way and try to make them look decent. Sometimes the place is a total mess after a big event, with half-eaten snacks and flyers everywhere. It’s just the reality of production life in Mumbai. We’re just a bunch of people who enjoy the chaos of putting a project together.
