Hiya Creation

Hiya Creation is a small shop located at number 8 in the 15-17 Larwadi building. This is on Old Hanuman Lane over in the Ramwadi area. If you know these lanes, you know they are quite narrow and always crowded with people and goods moving around. It’s a very traditional part of the market. We have been working out of this shop for some time. It is not a very big space, so we have to be careful with how we stack things. Ramwadi is the kind of place where everyone is doing some kind of business. We fit right in with our creations. Most days involve a lot of walking back and forth in the lane to get things done. Old Hanuman Lane has its own rhythm. We open up in the morning and stay until the work is finished. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We don't have any big machines or anything, just our tools and the materials we use. People stop by because they are already in the lane for other things. We don't really advertise or anything like that. We just stay at Shop No. 8 and keep busy. It's a humble way to work, but it suits us just fine. The atmosphere in Larwadi is always full of talk and the smell of the market. There is always someone drinking tea nearby or yelling about a delivery. That is just how life is here. We just focus on what we have to make.
