Hira Mishthaan Sweets

Hira Mishthaan Sweets is tucked away on 18th B Cross in Kalbadevi. We are located in the Lakshmipuram 12 area, which is usually quite crowded with people going about their business. The shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. We've been at this spot for some time, watching the street change as new buildings go up. It's a bit of a maze getting here if you aren't used to the cross streets, but locals know the way. We mostly spend our time in the back preparing the trays for the day. The glass cases are always full by ten in the morning. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road, making things a bit chaotic. It’s just how Kalbadevi is, always loud and moving. We don’t have a website or fancy signs, just the name above the door. Most days it’s just me and one other person handling the customers. We get a lot of regulars who live right there in Lakshmipuram. They come in for a bit of conversation as much as for the sweets. It’s a simple life, keeping the floors swept and the sugar stocked. We don't worry about being the biggest shop on the block. We just try to keep things consistent. If the lights are on, we are open. It’s a bit cramped when five people come in at once, but we make it work for everyone involved.
