Hasta Melaap Marriage Bureau

We’re located in Ghatkopar East, in E Block on the 7th Main. The office is number 406. It’s a quiet building mostly. We help people find matches for marriage. We have drawers full of folders with photos and biodatas. It’s a lot of talking to parents who are worried about their kids. We sit them down, give them water, and listen to what they want. It’s not like those big websites where everything is automatic. We actually remember the faces and the families. Sometimes it takes a long time to find the right person. We’ve been doing this from this Ghatkopar office for a while. The walls have some old calendars and a few photos of couples who got married through us. We don’t have any fancy marketing. People come because their neighbors told them about us. It’s a lot of paper work and phone calls. Sometimes the phone rings during lunch and we have to answer it. We don't promise anything crazy. We just show the profiles we have and see if it works out. It's a very personal kind of work. You get to know people's life stories. We just keep at it every day, hoping for a good match. It’s a small team here, just two or three of us. We have a lot of tea and biscuits while we go through the files. It's a slow process but it's how it's done. The elevator in the building is a bit slow too, so most people just take the stairs.
