Harendra Sweets & Farsan Mart

Harendra Sweets & Farsan Mart is located out in Mulund West, specifically in Sector 48 C at Jagatpur 6. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but for the people living nearby, we are just the local sweet and farsan shop. We spend a lot of our time back in the kitchen area making different kinds of savory snacks and sweets. The smell of frying oil and sugar is pretty much always in the air around here. The shop itself is pretty straightforward, with counters full of the things we’ve made that day. We don't really have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure everything is ready for the afternoon rush. Sector 48 C is a relatively quiet area, but we still get a steady stream of people coming through Jagatpur 6. Sometimes we run out of the popular farsan items before the day is even half over, which can be frustrating, but we try to make more as fast as we can. It’s a lot of physical work, standing on your feet all day and dealing with the heat from the stoves. We don't put much stock in being fancy; we just want to make sure the food is decent and the customers are satisfied when they leave. It’s what we’ve always done since we started out in this neighborhood. We just take things one day at a time and try to stay organized.
