Hansa Band

We've been running Hansa Band out of the Mahalaxmi Spk Tower for quite some time now. If you know the R K Road area, you know it gets pretty busy with all the industrial stuff going on in Industrial Area A. Our spot is at number 1120. It's not a fancy office or anything like that. Mostly, it's just a place where we keep all the instruments and where the guys meet up before a gig. Sometimes the neighbors complain about the noise when we're practicing, but that’s just how it goes when you have brass instruments and drums in a small room. The tower itself has seen better days, and the stairs are a bit of a climb if you aren't used to it. We spend a lot of our mornings checking the uniforms and making sure the lights on the decorative umbrellas are working right. It’s hard work, especially when it’s hot outside and we have to walk for miles during a procession. We aren't trying to be some big corporate entity. We're just a group of people who know how to play and want to keep the tradition going in this part of town. Most people around here know us by now. We don't have a big marketing team. It’s just us answering the phone and writing down dates in a dusty ledger. If you’re ever near the industrial area, you might hear us before you see us.
