Hansa Band

We are over at the Bit Block on M G Road in Mahalaxmi, right near the Agripada Police Station. Our space is in units 11 through 20. It is a bit of an old-school location, but it suits us just fine. The band spends a lot of time here practicing and keeping our instruments in good shape. It’s not a fancy recording studio with soundproofing and leather chairs; it’s more of a functional space where we can gather and go over our sets. There’s always the sound of someone tuning up or practicing a beat in the background. Being near the police station means it’s a well-known landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us. We’ve been in this spot for years and the walls are covered with photos from past events we’ve played at. We don't spend money on big ads or marketing people. We just focus on the music and making sure everyone is ready for the next gig. Most of the work is just the daily grind of showing up and putting in the hours. We are just a group of musicians who found a place that works for us in a busy part of the city. We don't try to be anything we aren't, we just stay focused on the songs and the instruments we play every single day.
