Hans Metalloys

Hans Metalloys is situated in the Cotton Exchange Building, which many people also call Jewel World, located at 175 Kalbadevi Road. Our room is number 811. Being in Kalbadevi means you are right in the heart of one of the busiest trading districts you can find. The building itself is quite historic and has a lot of character, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental sometimes. We deal with metal alloys, so there is a lot of talking to suppliers and keeping track of market prices on the computer. The office is not very large, but we make the most of the space we have. From our floor, you can hear the constant noise of the street down below—honking cars, vendors shouting, and the general bustle of Mumbai life. It is a high-energy environment, and there is never a dull moment. We have been in this building for several years now, and we have gotten to know the other tenants pretty well. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick snack or a tea from the local vendors who have been there forever. We do not have a flashy showroom; it is just a place of business where we get our work done and keep our records straight. It is a bit of a maze inside the building if you are not used to it, but once you find room 811, you will find us busy with the daily tasks.
