Hamsafar Matrimonial Services

Our office is tucked away in Kandivali West, right on Lbs Marg. If you know the area, you know it gets pretty busy around here with people going back and forth all day. Hamsafar Matrimonial Services has been in this spot for a while now, and we’ve seen a lot of changes on this street. It’s basically just a few of us sitting with files and talking to people who come in looking for help with family matters. The space is a bit cramped when more than two families show up at once, but we manage somehow. We spend most of our time looking through papers and taking notes on what people are looking for. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The desks are covered in folders and the tea lady comes by twice a day to keep us going. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights outside, just the name on the door. People usually hear about us from someone else in the neighborhood or just walk in because they live nearby. Dealing with families can be a bit stressful sometimes because everyone has different ideas, but we just listen and try to keep things calm. Lbs Marg is always loud, so we usually have the windows shut to keep the dust and noise out. It’s just a regular local business trying to get through the day's list of things to do. We usually finish up by seven in the evening.
