Hack The Snacks

Our little shop is tucked away in Simla Shopping Center Part-2 over in Kurla East. If you know the area, it's not too hard to find us among the other stores. We started Hack The Snacks because we wanted a place where people could grab something quick while they’re out doing their shopping or errands. It’s a small space, mostly just enough room for the snacks and a couple of people to stand. Kurla East is always moving, so we see a lot of different faces every day. Some people just stop by for a packet of something on their way home. We try to keep the shelves stocked up, but sometimes things sell out faster than we expect. The shopping center gets a bit noisy on Saturdays. We’ve been here for a bit now and the neighbors are nice. It’s not a fancy cafe or anything like that. Just a place for snacks. We keep the lights on and the door open. Most of the time it’s just one of us behind the counter listening to the radio. Simla Shopping Center Part-2 has its own rhythm and we’ve just become part of it. People know they can just drop in without any fuss. The shelves are just plain metal ones we put up ourselves. One of them is slightly crooked but it holds the bags just fine. We have a small stool behind the counter that everyone fights over because it's the only place to sit during the slow hours. We’re just glad to have a roof over our heads and snacks to sell.
