H R Courier Cargo

Our office for H R Courier Cargo is at Shop No 1 in the Omkar Industrial Estate. We are situated in Kanjurmarg East. It is a very convenient spot because we are quite near the Kanjurmarg railway station. You can practically hear the trains from here. Being in an industrial estate means there are always big trucks and vans moving around. Our shop is right on the ground level which makes loading and unloading parcels much easier. We deal with a lot of boxes and envelopes every single day. The floor is often covered with packing tape and bubble wrap. It’s not the cleanest looking place but it is where the work happens. We have a small desk where we weigh the packages and write out the slips. The fans are always running because it gets hot with all the activity. People from the nearby offices often drop by to send their documents. We know the local area well since we are always out delivering stuff. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying things back and forth. Sometimes the packages pile up high when the cargo trucks are running late. We just keep sorting through them one by one. It’s a simple operation based on getting things from one place to another. There is no big corporate feel here, just a local courier shop.
