Our office is located in the Devraj Building, over in 'A' Wing on the fourth floor. We’re right on S. V. Road in Goregaon West. If you know that area, you know how packed it gets with people and cars. Finding a spot to park is usually the hardest part of the morning. Group Pharmaceuticals has been operating from this floor for a while now. It’s a functional space with plenty of desks and a few cabinets that don't quite close right. We handle a lot of different pharmaceutical products here. Most of the day is spent on the phone or looking at inventory lists. We aren't a big corporate office with glass walls; it’s more like a regular workplace where everyone knows each other’s names. Lunchtime is when we usually sit together and talk about things other than work. The air conditioner in the main room hums a bit too loudly, but it keeps us cool when the Mumbai heat gets to be too much. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic on S. V. Road, and we have to stay back to sort things out. It’s just how things go. We keep it simple and try to stay on top of the paperwork. There’s always a stack of documents waiting to be signed. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a busy life in Goregaon, but we’ve made this office our own.
