L. G. Pipes & Tubes

L. G. Pipes & Tubes is located right on Balaram Street, over by Grand Road. This part of the city is always crammed with people and vehicles. Our shop isn't massive, but we pack a lot into it. Pipes and tubes take up a lot of space, so it is always a bit of a puzzle trying to keep things organized. We spend most of the day answering the phone and helping people who walk in looking for specific sizes. It is a lot of clanging metal and heavy lifting. We don’t have a fancy showroom; it is just us and the stock. Sometimes the street gets so blocked that we have to wait a while just to get a delivery out, but that is life on Balaram Street. We have been here long enough that we know most of the other shop owners on the block. We don't go in for big sales pitches. If we have the pipe you need, we tell you. If we don’t, we might know who does. It is a very direct way of doing business. The office is just a desk in the corner where we keep the ledger and the receipts. It is simple and it works for us. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out, dealing with the metal and the crowds in this busy corner of town. There is never a dull moment.
