Kapable Bangles

We are tucked away at No. 7 in the Bharat Compound. Our office is right there on Aarey Road in Goregaon East. It’s a busy spot, especially with all the traffic coming in and out of the compound and the main road always being jammed. At Kapable Bangles, we spend our time making and sorting through all kinds of bangles. It’s a colorful business to be in, but it’s also a lot of hard work. We have boxes of glass, metal, and plastic stacked up to the ceiling sometimes. The workspace isn't very large, so we have to be careful where we step. It gets pretty loud in the compound with other businesses nearby, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over time. Most of our work is about checking for breaks or making sure the colors match up for the sets. It’s a lot of eye strain, but we take breaks to have tea and talk about things happening in Goregaon. Being in the Bharat Compound means we see a lot of different people every day. We don't have a big fancy showroom. If someone wants to see what we have, they just come into the workspace and we show them what’s on the tables. It’s a very simple, old-school way of doing business. We focus on the product and getting it delivered to the shops that sell them. It’s what we know how to do, and we just keep at it.
