Our office is room 352 in the Master Mind 1 building which is part of Royal Palms. This is tucked away in the Aarey Milk Colony in Goregaon East. It is a bit of a different environment compared to most of Mumbai because of all the trees and the open space around us. Sometimes we even see cattle wandering around near the entrance of the colony. We do our lab work from this office and it is generally a quiet place to be. The building itself is quite large and it can be a bit confusing for people visiting us for the first time because there are so many corridors. We have our lab equipment set up in one section and the desks for the paperwork in another. It’s a small team here and we mostly just focus on our individual tasks. The commute can be a bit of a struggle if you are relying on public transport since the rickshaws don't always want to come all the way inside Royal Palms. We often bring our own lunch from home and eat while looking out at the greenery. It is a nice change of pace from the concrete jungle of the city. We have been at this location for a while and we like the fact that it is a bit secluded. We just go about our business and keep the lab running as smoothly as we can without much fuss or noise.
