Gopa Chakrabarti

My name is Gopa Chakrabarti and I work out of my place in Kandivili East. I am in A/505, Orchid Valley of Flowers. It is in Thakur Village, right near Gundecha School. It is a nice residential area, so it is much quieter than the main roads of Mumbai. I use one of the rooms as my office space. It has my computer, a lot of books, and some plants on the windowsill that I try to keep alive. Working from home in a complex like this is quite convenient for me. I can hear the kids playing at the school sometimes during their break. Thakur Village has everything you need, so I do not have to travel far for errands. My setup is very simple. I do not have staff or a big lobby with a receptionist. It is just me handling my projects and talking to people on the phone. I started doing this a while ago and found that I liked the flexibility it offers. Sometimes I work late into the night when the building is finally silent. Other times I am up early with the sun. It is a personal way of doing business. People who work with me know I am just a call away. The apartment is comfortable and it helps me focus on the tasks. I do not need a fancy office. This spot in Kandivili is perfect for me.
