Good Luck Florist

Good Luck Florist is down in Lower Parel, right on R C Dutt Road at number 49. We’ve been selling flowers here for quite some time now. It’s a small shop, but it gets the job done. We usually start very early in the morning when the fresh stock comes in. The smell of the roses and lilies is pretty strong when you first walk in. It’s a lot of work keeping everything watered and trimmed so they don't wilt in the heat. We don't have a fancy cooling system, just some fans and a lot of water buckets. Most of our customers are people from the nearby offices who need something for a birthday or just to take home. R C Dutt Road is always busy with cars, so it’s a bit noisy outside our door. We do basic bouquets and loose flowers for whatever people need. It’s not like those big boutiques you see in the malls. We just use simple paper and string mostly. Sometimes we run out of certain colors by midday, but that’s just how it is with fresh plants. My sister and I run the place most days. It’s a nice enough way to spend the day, even if our hands are always wet. If you’re near number 49 in Lower Parel, you’ll see our buckets on the sidewalk. We just try to keep the flowers watered and hope they look alright for everyone.
