Golden Chocolates

We are based out of the GIDC area in Dadar West. Our unit number is 301/745 in Section 28. It is more of a workspace than a shop where people come to browse. Most of our time at Golden Chocolates is spent handling the batches and making sure the temperatures are right. The building is quite large and there are many other small businesses working around us. You can hear the sounds of machinery from the other units throughout the day. It’s a very busy, industrial kind of atmosphere. We have a small office area tucked into the corner for the bills and orders. The rest of the space is taken up by our equipment and storage racks. We usually arrive early to get the machines warmed up. It can get quite humid in Dadar, so we have to manage that carefully. We don't have any flashy signs outside. Most of the people we deal with are suppliers or people we’ve known for years. It’s a lot of hard work and staying on your feet for most of the shift. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big batch. It is just a regular production unit. We focus on the work and don't worry too much about the rest. The floors are a bit worn down, but the equipment is what matters to us.
