Globeex Courier Network

We run Globeex Courier Network out of room 304 in the C Wing of Vasant View Society. It’s in Malad West, a residential area that stays pretty active. We aren't one of those massive courier companies with hundreds of trucks. We are a smaller team focusing on making sure packages actually get where they are supposed to go. Our office is inside a society, so it feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters. We spend a lot of time on the phone tracking shipments and talking to drivers. There are always boxes stacked up in the corner waiting to be picked up. Malad West can be a nightmare for traffic, so we spend a lot of time planning the best routes. We’ve had some days where everything goes wrong, like a flat tire or a wrong address, but we just deal with it as it comes. It’s not a glamorous job. Most of our customers are from the nearby buildings who need to send something for work. We try to keep our rates simple so people don't get confused. We don't have a big staff, so when you call, you usually talk to the same person every time. Vasant View Society is a quiet enough place, but our office stays busy. We’ve got a small balcony where we take our lunch breaks. The C Wing has a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens more than we’d like. We don't have any big corporate logos on the walls. It’s mostly just calendars and maps to help us with the deliveries. We know the local delivery boys pretty well and often share a cup of tea. Running a courier network means you're always watching the clock. It can be stressful, but we just try to be honest with people. No point in making excuses.
