You can find us over at Virwani Industrial Estate in Goregaon East. Our unit is B-301, and it’s right near the Western Express Highway. The highway is always loud, but it’s helpful for getting our goods out on the road. We do apparel exports, so the office is usually filled with racks of clothing samples and stacks of fabric swatches. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes, with different colors and patterns everywhere you look. We have a small area for the tailoring and finishing work where everything gets checked before it’s packed into boxes. The lighting isn't the best, but we make it work. We spend a lot of our time making sure the measurements are right and the buttons are sewn on tight. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find people in suits; we’re mostly in our shirt sleeves getting our hands dirty with the work. The building itself is quite old and has that classic industrial feel to it. We have a lot of regular workers who have been with us through many seasons. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising or anything. We just let the work we do speak for itself. It’s a busy, cramped, and often noisy place, but it’s where we’ve been making a living for a long time and we’re used to the rhythm of it.
