You can find us at 1 Jay Sarang Society, right on the ground floor in Malad East. We’re near Vaikunth Lallubhai Park, which is a nice landmark if you’re trying to find the place. At Giftmakers India, we spend our time putting things together and boxing them up. The ground floor is handy because we have a lot of stuff coming in and out all the time. It’s not a massive factory, just a decent-sized workspace where we can organize our items. Malad East is a busy neighborhood, and there’s always someone walking by our window. We started this because we liked the idea of making things people give to each other. It’s a lot of manual work, checking ribbons or making sure the boxes aren't crushed. Our desks are usually a mess of tape and wrapping material. We don't have a corporate office with a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. It’s a practical setup. The society is quiet enough for us to get our work done without too many distractions. We’ve been in this spot for a while and the locals know what we do. We just keep our heads down and try to get the orders out on time. It’s a small team here, and we all do a bit of everything. Sometimes we run out of storage space, but we find a way to stack things safely.
