Ghanta Wala Pan Mandir

The shop is right in the Borivali West Transport Area. If you know the neighborhood, you know it's always crowded with people catching buses or getting off work. We call it Ghanta Wala Pan Mandir, and the name kind of says it all. There’s a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but we’ve got our own rhythm going on inside the shop. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals or people who work in the transport sector. They come by for a quick pan after their meals or just to take a break from driving. We spend the whole day prepping the leaves and all the different fillings. It’s a lot of manual work, sitting there and getting everything ready. The Ghanta part of the name is something people always ask about, and it just adds to the character of the place. We don’t have a website or do any marketing. Our address in Borivali is enough for people to find us. It gets really hot in the afternoons, but that’s when the rush usually starts anyway. We just keep going until late at night when the last buses are heading out. It’s a humble business, nothing too fancy, just how we like it. It's just a part of the daily life around this busy transport hub.
