Geeta Printery

Geeta Printery is tucked away in the Jogeshwari Green Park area. It is a place that always smells like fresh ink and stacks of paper. We have been here for a long time, and the machines are almost like family to us now, even if they sometimes get jammed on a Monday morning. The Green Park neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the main roads, but inside the printery, it’s a different story. The rhythmic thumping of the presses is the background noise to everything we do. We spend a lot of time cutting paper, checking margins, and making sure the colors don't bleed. Our hands are usually stained with a bit of black or blue ink by the time lunch rolls around. We don't have a big fancy office, just a workspace where the job gets done. People from around Jogeshwari bring us their flyers, wedding cards, or business forms. Sometimes they are in a huge rush, and we have to stay late to finish up. We keep a small radio playing in the corner to pass the time. The light in here isn't the brightest, but we know where everything is, from the staplers to the heavy boxes of cardstock. It’s a messy, busy, and hardworking kind of place. We just focus on getting the print clear and the edges straight for whoever walks through the door.
