Our spot is on the 2nd floor at 207 Bhuleshwar Satranjiwala Chowk, which is about as busy as it gets in this city. You have to climb the stairs past all the other small shops to find us. Up here, it is all about the printing machines. We handle a lot of secure print jobs, so there is always a bit of a hum from the equipment running in the background. The floor is usually stacked with boxes of paper and finished documents waiting to be sent out. It’s not a quiet office by any means, especially with the noise from the chowk coming up through the windows. Sometimes the heat gets a bit much, so we keep the fans going full blast all day. We spend most of our time double-checking numbers and making sure the ink looks right on the page. It’s a lot of sitting and standing around the presses, watching things move. We’ve been at this Bhuleshwar location for a good while, and we know most of the neighbors who work in the same building. Getting deliveries in and out through the narrow streets of the market is always a challenge, but we have a system that works for us. It’s a bit cramped and messy with all the supplies, but it’s where the work happens every day without fail. We just try to get the prints done correctly and move on to the next box.
