Down on Ketkipada Road, specifically at 416 in the Diamond Industrial Estate East, you will find us at Rich Offset India Pvt Ltd. It is an industrial area through and through, so there are always sounds of machinery and the smell of grease and ink in the air. We have been in this spot for several years, and our unit is usually filled with stacks of paper waiting to be fed into the machines. The floor is concrete and has some stains on it from all the printing jobs we have finished over time. It isn't a quiet place to work, especially when the offset presses are running at full speed to get a job done before the deadline. We don't have a lot of space for a fancy lobby, so when people come to visit, they usually just walk right into the middle of the workspace. Ketkipada can get a bit congested with all the delivery vans, so we have to be careful about timing our shipments. Our staff are mostly local people who know how to handle the equipment without needing a lot of instruction. We just focus on the task at hand, whether it’s a small batch of cards or a larger run of brochures. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the ink levels and making sure the paper doesn't jam. At the end of the shift, we wash up and head home, just like everyone else in the estate.
