K G N Packaging Works

Our shop is right on P L Lokhande Marg in Chembur West, just across from Nagwadi Road. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks and bikes going past all day long. We do packaging work here, so the place is usually filled with rolls of plastic, cardboard boxes, and heaps of tape. It can get a bit cramped when a big order comes in and we’re trying to get everything wrapped up. There’s always that smell of adhesive and paper in the air. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby, just the workspace where we get things done. Some of us have been working here for years and we know exactly where every tool is kept. When it’s busy, we’re all on our feet moving stuff around. The rain can be a problem because we have to make sure the stock stays dry, so we’re always checking the roof and the doorways. People from around the neighborhood drop by when they need something packed for shipping or storage. We don't do much advertising, mostly just folks seeing the shop while they’re passing by on the road. It’s hard work and it gets dusty, but it’s what we know. In the evenings, we tidy up a bit and get ready to do it all again the next morning. It’s a simple life, focused on getting the packing right so nothing breaks. We take our breaks together and talk about the news or the cricket scores. It’s just how we spend our days here in Chembur, keeping busy.
