You can find us over on Janjikar Street, which is always packed with people and carts moving back and forth. We’re quite close to the Nagdevi Station area, so the whole place feels like it never really sleeps. It’s one of those old parts of the city where the lanes are narrow and you have to watch your step so you don’t bump into someone carrying a heavy load. Our shop is filled with all kinds of packing materials. Boxes are stacked up to the ceiling in some corners, and it can feel a bit like a maze if you don't know where you're going. We’ve been in this spot for years, and not much has changed about the way we do things. We open up early, usually before the worst of the heat kicks in, and start organizing orders. There’s a lot of shouting and talking going on outside, which just becomes background noise after a while. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology here; mostly just pens, paper, and a lot of hands-on work. When it rains, we have to move everything back from the entrance so it stays dry. It’s a busy life, and there’s always something that needs to be moved or taped up. We take our tea breaks when things settle down for a minute, usually standing near the door to catch a bit of a breeze if there is any. It’s just us doing what we’ve always done.
