Geet Parade

Our place is located at 3/3, Yadav Ashram Chawl, over in Jawle, Andheri East. It is very close to the Juni Masjid, so we hear the calls from there throughout the day. Living and working in a chawl means you are always around people. There is always noise from the neighbors or kids playing in the lanes. Geet Parade is run from here, and it is a small setup. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. It is just a room where we get things done. Andheri East is always crowded, especially near the station area, but our spot is a bit tucked away in the chawl. You have to walk through the narrow paths to find us. We mostly deal with local stuff and people we have known for a long time. It gets quite hot in the summers, so the ceiling fan is always running on full speed. We keep our records in old cupboards and try to stay organized as much as possible. It is a simple life here. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it gets too stuffy inside. People stop by to chat or ask for directions because everyone knows where the Juni Masjid is. It’s a humble place, but it works for what we do. We have been here at Yadav Ashram for quite some time now and know the neighborhood like the back of our hand. It is just a normal local spot.
