Gautam Chocolates

We are Gautam Chocolates and we operate out of a small place at number 7 in Ghatkopar East. It is a basic setup, nothing like those big factories you see on TV. We have a few machines and a couple of tables where we do all the wrapping. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it is usually quiet around here until the school nearby lets out. We spend a lot of our time just watching the clock and making sure the chocolate doesn't seize up. It can be a bit finicky depending on the weather. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop in town. We just want to make sure the boxes we send out are decent. Most of our days are spent in aprons, covered in bits of foil and cocoa powder. It’s a messy job sometimes. We have a small storage area in the back that gets a bit cluttered if we aren’t careful. We don't have a sales team or anything fancy. If someone wants to buy something, they usually just call us up or stop by the door. We’ve been at this for a few years and we’ve learned a lot by just making mistakes and trying again. It’s a slow process but we like the pace of it. Ghatkopar East has been a good home for us and we just keep our heads down and work. There is always a lot to do before we can finally close up for the night and go home.
