The shop is at 46 Wadia Building, right in that busy area of Fort near Cawasji. Being opposite Janmabhoomi Marg means there is always someone walking past the window. Game Garage is basically a room full of consoles, wires, and plastic cases. It gets pretty cramped when more than three people are standing inside at once. We spend a lot of time fixing controllers that have buttons stuck or trying to figure out why a disc isn't reading properly. It’s a lot of dust and small screws. We also have stuff for people in Charkop who can't always make the trip down here. Most of the guys who come in are just looking for something to do on the weekend or trying to find an old game they used to play as kids. We don't have a big polished showroom; it’s more like a workshop where things are stacked wherever they fit. The lights are a bit dim, and there is always the hum of a fan running in the corner to keep the machines from getting too hot. It’s a simple business. We open up, check what needs repairing, and talk to the regulars who stop by to see what’s new. Sometimes we stay late because a repair is taking longer than we thought, but that’s just part of the job. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is, and that’s what matters at the end of the day.
