G. Shoe Export

G. Shoe Export is located in the Hitex Industrial Estate right on S. V. Road in Dahisar East. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always trucks moving and people hauling stuff around. We’ve been at number 1 for quite a while now. The space is mostly filled with boxes ready to go out and raw materials coming in. We don’t have a fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s just a workspace where we focus on getting the shoes ready for export. Every morning starts with a lot of noise as we get the machines warmed up. The air usually smells like processed leather and rubber. We have a group of workers who’ve been doing this for a long time. They don't need much direction anymore. We just get the orders and start the process. Dahisar is a busy part of the city, and being on S. V. Road means we see a lot of the daily commute. Sometimes we stand outside for a breather and watch the traffic. We don't spend money on big ads. We just keep our heads down and make sure the shipments are packed right. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting crates and checking quality by hand. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to do the job right and keep the business moving. It’s practical, everyday work for us here, and we plan to keep it that way.
