Funshala

Our spot is at 202 Kuntal, which is part of the Mody Estate on L B S Marg. It’s directly opposite the Chirag Nagar Police Station, so we are pretty easy to locate if you know that landmark. Ghatkopar West is always humming with traffic and people going about their business. Inside Funshala, it's a bit of a different world from the busy street outside. We have various things going on depending on the day. The building itself is an older one, but it does the job for what we need. We spend a lot of time organizing schedules and talking to parents or whoever is coming in for the day. Sometimes the rains make L B S Marg a bit of a mess, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time to get here. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, just a local place where things happen. The walls are covered in stuff we’ve done over the months. It’s a bit cramped when it’s full, but we like it that way. It feels more alive. Our team is just a handful of people who live nearby. We don't have a big corporate manual. We just figure things out as we go and try to make sure everyone has what they need when they arrive. If the police station is on your left, we are right there on the right.
