Fun N Frolic

Our place is in Raj Classique, over in Versova. It is actually an apartment, A-702, so it does not feel like a typical office when you walk in. We are quite close to the Bank of India off Yari Road. It’s a nice area of Andheri West, though the traffic can be a real headache in the evenings. We started Fun N Frolic because we wanted to do something with parties and events for the neighborhood. Usually, the living room is full of decorations or things we are getting ready for a weekend job. It’s mostly just a few of us working here. Sometimes we forget to answer the door right away if we are in the back room packing things up. Being in a residential building means we have to keep the noise down, but it makes the work feel more relaxed. You can see the trees from the window which is nice. Most people who come to see us are from around Versova or Lokhandwala. We don’t really do big advertising; people just find out about us from their friends. We have some shelves with toys and props, and there is always a list of phone numbers stuck to the fridge. It is just a small operation running out of a home, really. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sitting at the kitchen table planning things out for the next week. It is a bit hectic but we enjoy it.
