FRESCO LINENS PRIVATE LIMITED

Our place is in the Bharucha Compound over in Agripada. If you know Ghas Galli, you know it’s a tight area with lots of activity. We are on the ground floor of plot 384 and our name is Fresco Linens Private Limited. It's an old building, but it does the job for handling linens. The neighborhood, Sane Guruji Marg, is always crowded with trucks and people moving goods around. We’ve been here for a bit now, dealing with the daily grind of the textile trade in Mumbai. It gets hot in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans going to keep the air moving. It isn't a showroom. It’s more of a working space where things actually get done. We spend most of our time checking stocks and making sure the orders are packed right. Sometimes the rain leaks a bit near the back door during monsoon, but we’ve got that covered with some plastic sheets now. It’s a busy part of the city, and we’re just another shop in the lane. We don't have a fancy reception or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk or moving boxes. We’ve known the neighbors for years. It's a tight-knit spot. We just keep our heads down and work. There’s always a lot of dust because of the fabric, but that’s just how it is. We try to get things out on time every day, mostly. It keeps us busy.
