Fortune Mineral Enterprises

Fortune Mineral Enterprises is located up on the second floor of Abid House, specifically in Office 323. To find us, you have to come down D.B. Marg and look for the building. It’s an older place, but it works for what we do. The stairs can be a bit much if the elevator is acting up, which happens sometimes. Inside the office, it is mostly just desks, phones, and a lot of samples lying around. We spend a lot of our time talking to suppliers and trying to coordinate where the minerals need to go. It is a lot of coordination work. It gets quiet when everyone is focused on their calls, then it gets noisy again when a delivery is being planned. We aren't trying to be some huge corporation with glass walls and shiny floors. It is just a practical space where we handle the mineral business. Some days are slow and we just drink tea and catch up on filing, and other days the phone won't stop ringing at all. We’ve been at this address for a bit and the local shopkeepers downstairs know us well. It’s a decent spot to work from since everything we need is nearby. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. There’s always a pile of documents to go through, but that's part of the job. We just keep moving forward one day at a time, making sure the orders are sent out. The building gets a bit drafty in the winter, but it’s fine. We have a small tea stall downstairs where we usually get our afternoon drinks. It’s a basic life but it keeps us busy.
