Our office is tucked away on the first floor of the Sonawala Building over on Bank Street. If you know the Fort area, you know how crowded it gets with all the old buildings and narrow lanes. We've been at No. 29 for some time. It is a bit of a climb up the stairs but it's where we get everything done. Being in this part of town means we are close to everything, which helps with the daily logistics. The space inside isn't massive but we make it work. We spend our time dealing with the usual paperwork and managing the items we handle. It's mostly quiet work except for the noise from the street downstairs. We aren't into big advertising or anything. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they were already in the neighborhood for bank business. The 1st floor has its own rhythm. We have desks piled with files and the occasional cup of tea sitting around while we figure out the next shipment. It’s an old-school way of working, I guess. We like being in Fort because of the history of the place, even if the building is a bit aged. It’s just a practical spot for us to run the business. We try to keep things organized but sometimes when it's busy, the place looks a bit lived-in. That's just how we operate. There is always a lot of paper moving around here.
