We are up on the first floor of Citi Centre in Goregaon West. If you take the stairs or the lift, we are at Shop 103. S V Road is always a mess with traffic, so we spend a lot of time looking out the window at the cars. We keep a lot of different things in the shop. It’s a collection of stuff we’ve gathered over time. Some people come in looking for one specific thing and end up staying to chat for half an hour. It’s that kind of place. We don’t have fancy displays or bright lights that hurt your eyes. It’s just shelves full of items and a counter where we sit. Dealing with the crowd in Goregaon can be tiring, but the regulars make it worth it. We’ve been in this spot for a good while. The shop isn't huge, but we make use of every inch of space we have. Sometimes the boxes pile up near the door, especially when a new delivery comes in. We try to keep it organized, but it’s a struggle. It’s just us running the place, so there isn't always someone to answer the phone right away. We prefer it when people just walk in and see what we have. It feels more personal that way. My nephew helps out on Saturdays when it gets busy. We just keep the doors open and see who comes by. It’s not a complicated way to live, but it works for us and the people who visit.
