We are located at Number 173 on Mutton Street, right in the middle of Null Bazar. If you know the area, you know how packed it gets. There’s always someone hauling a cart or shouting about prices. Our place is a bit of a sanctuary from all that chaos, even if it is small. We spend our days surrounded by rolls of fabric and loose threads. It’s a couture business, but we don’t act like those big fancy brands. We’re just local people making clothes. The lighting inside isn’t the best, but we have some good lamps for the detail work. My sewing machines are quite old, but they run better than the new ones I’ve tried. Sometimes the smell from the street drifts in, which is just part of being in Null Bazar. We work long hours, especially when there’s a wedding season coming up. It gets cramped when we have several projects going at once. We don't have a big showroom. Most people just come in, look at the fabric samples, and tell us what they want. We write down measurements on scraps of paper. It’s a messy process, but the final outfits usually turn out okay. We’ve been on Mutton Street for a while now, and we don’t plan on moving anywhere else soon. It’s our home and we like the energy of the market outside. We just keep sewing until the sun goes down.
