Lady Choice

Lady Choice is situated in the Bismillah Building, very close to the Dadar Railway Station. Being in Dadar West means it’s always incredibly busy outside on the street. We are on the first stage of the building at number three. You can hear the trains and the announcements from the station all day long. Thousands of people pass by every hour, and many of them pop in to see what we have on the racks. We mostly carry things for women, like purses, hair clips, or accessories. The shop is small, and every inch of wall space is used for hanging items. It can get a bit tight when more than three or four people are inside at once. We’ve gotten used to the constant noise and the fast pace of the station area. Our day starts early to catch the morning commuters and ends quite late at night. We don't have any fancy decorations; the products themselves fill up the space with color and variety. Sometimes we stand near the door just to get a bit of fresh air and watch the crowd. It’s a hectic place to work, but it’s never boring. We’ve been here at Dadar for a long time and have seen how the local market has changed. We just keep our heads down, help the customers find what they want, and keep the shop running. It’s a practical little spot in one of the busiest parts of Mumbai.
