Bela Shanghvi

My name is Bela Shanghvi and I run my business from Ness Baug. I am in Shop No 1, which is part of the Annexe 1 building. This is in the Grant Road area, specifically near Kala Ghoda. It is a very old and busy part of Mumbai. My shop is quite small and it is usually stuffed with all the things I work on. It is not a modern store with glass walls and bright spotlights. It is much more traditional. I have been here for years, and I have gotten used to the way the neighborhood works. The street noise from Grant Road is always there in the background. Sometimes people just pop in to say hello because they have seen me here for so long. I don't have a big marketing plan or a sales team. It is just me in the shop most of the time. The space is a bit cluttered, but I know where everything is. I like being in Ness Baug because it has a lot of character. The walls are thick and the ceiling is high. I don't try to make the shop look like something it isn't. It is just a place for me to do my work and sell what I make. It is honest and simple. I open the shop in the morning, do my tasks, and close up when the day is done. It is a good life in a great part of the city.
